The Mercia Growth EIS Fund (or the Fund) will provide access to a portfolio of rapidly expanding post-revenue investments available primarily for institutional and corporate investors and which would not normally be readily accessible to private investors. The fund is a focused Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) technology fund and will invest exclusively in a balanced portfolio of high growth post-revenue technology businesses with modest capital requirements and defensible near to medium term exit plans.
Based on Mercia Fund Management’s (MFM) track record with Mercia Fund 2 (launched in 2007), the investment objective for the Mercia Growth EIS Fund is to target attractive returns with a potential compound annual growth of 10% (excluding the tax advantages available to EIS investors) from investments in fast-growing, revenue-generating, technology-based companies.
